Steps to Sell a Home: Step 3, Prepare for Market

Once we’ve filled out all of our paperwork and we’ve set target date to go “live.” We’ll walk through your home room by room to create a comprehensive list of what furniture needs to be moved or put in storage, and together, we’ll determine whether we need the help of a professional stager. Unless the property is vacant, a home stager is usually not necessary. I’ve been known to bring in my own artwork and small pieces of furniture, for free, to compliment the furniture you already have in your home. If your home is vacant and we do need a stager, I’ll arrange for several companies to provide us with quotes. Once we’ve picked a stager, you would pay the staging company directly for their services.

Remember, I’ll create a personalized list just for your home. Once the staging/decluttering is done, I will schedule an appointment with my photographer to take photos and video of your home.
